The Encyclopedia of Beatles People

by Bill Harry

At Liverpool College of Art in 1958, three teenagers took a vow to make Liverpool famous; John Lennon with his music, Stuart Sutcliffe with his painting and Bill Harry with his writing. Three years later Bill launched Mersey Beat - the first alternative music paper. In the 35 years since then he has continued to document the Beatles, from their early art college gigs, via the Cavern era, and on to their major concerts.

Many years of fame - and tragedy - have passed since then, but Bill's unique involvement with the Beatles has resulted in a vast personal database of informative and entertaining details, as well as never-before-seen photographs.

Here, for the first time, this wealth of knowledge has been used to create a fascinating and authoritative book on the huge number of people - both past and present - who have been involved with the Fab Four. The Encyclopedia of Beatles People is an incredible compilation of information, including some brand new, highly controversial revelations concerning important aspects of the Beatles' musical career.
